Companies
When a business is set up as a limited company the finances have to be kept separately from the owner’s personal finance.
The company must be registered at Companies House and HM Revenue & Customs informed of its existence. Statutory accounts will need to be filed at Companies House within specified dates to avoid penalties and HM Revenue & Customs will require a copy of the annual accounts together with a company tax return, CT600, and a corporation tax computation. In addition, details of share ownership and officers of the company are required to be lodged at Companies House.
At Turnbull Associates*, we offer your business far more than just the preparation of statutory accounts. Because we understand your objectives and your company’s operating environment, you can benefit from advice and information on a range of subjects.
For information on company formation, buying a 'ready-made' company, essential company legal issues, tax saving and planning strategies, and ideas on how to maximise the benefit of our services, please call Turnbull Associates, Chartered Accountants in Watford, on 01923 224411 or email Hazel O'Hara.
